Illus is a community-built, socially-committed T-Shirt and Accessories provider that is dedicated to always giving at least 15% of our profits to charity. When designers apply to design for Illus, they upload examples of previous work to be reviewed by visitors to this website. Based on the reviews that a designer's portfolio receives, Illus will choose who will design our next t-shirt.
Illus is dedicated to providing the best product on the market. Our shirts are made from 100% Ringspun Cotton, grown in the United States of America. They are sewn together by our brothers and sisters in Mexico, and finished in California. Illus shirts fit almost exactly like American Apparel, but for almost half the cost!
Illus "Art Series" tees are produced in our State-of-the-Art manufacturing facility, operating here in California. We can print full color, gradients, and also do all-over prints. We can use all kinds of different inks such as shimmer ink, glow-in-the-dark, puff, suede, metallic, and clear gloss ink! We can even do embroidery and foil printing.
We keep a charity featured until Illus becomes the top donor by a significant margin on the Charity's Facebook Causes page. We feel that this is an awesome way to spread the love in an effective and fun way.

The best way to help is to buy some tees! For those of you who are really interested in helping our company, we offer a "Sponsor a Tee" program where you can donate some extra cash to Illus to help us print our tees. Because we use the best manufacturing processes possible, our set-up costs to print a tee shirt are very expensive. Any little bit helps!
Illus is dedicated to supporting the arts and charity by providing a quality product for very little money. Not only do we make the best blank t-shirts anywhere, but we also maintain an "Art Series" of limited edition printed shirts, designed by artists all over the world. In addition, we provide blank t-shirts to socially-aware bands and musicians to use for their merch. We facilitate collaborations between our artists and interested bands to create unique designs for their merch. By using the Illus network your band is making a commitment to give back and create positive change in society, while at the same time rockin' some ill threads.
Very soon we will also start sending out a free mixtape of new and rising bands and musicians who want to be part of our cause and want their music to be heard worldwide. Look for "Illustryus: Mixtape Vol. 1" to be released very soon!
Designers and musicians should submit their art using the Apply page by clicking on the "Apply" icon at the top of the page. T-Shirt designers should upload examples of previous work. These examples will serve as the designer's portfolio on the website which will then be reviewed by visitors to the site. Musicians and bands should upload music in mp3 format, which will be reviewed in house by the Illus staff for consideration for use on upcoming Illustryus mixtapes. If you are a band and are interested in using one of our artists for your next merch shirt, please do not hesitate to email us at collabs@illustryus.com.

On the bottom of our homepage we have a poll inviting Illus users to vote for which charity to feature next. In our forums members can suggest charities to be offered as options in the next vote.
Illus advertises the fact that we always give at least 15% of profits to charity because we feel that by making that fact public, it will create excitement not only for our products, but excitement for 'giving' itself.
We want to be an example for other companies to follow. Illus feels that giving to charity is something businesses should not be modest about. We want to make it cool to give back. And for something to be considered cool, it HAS to be in the public eye.
We provide full view of the charity we support and you can even watch how much money we give to each charity thanks to the "Causes" application on our Facebook page.
Illus does not release any private information to anybody. Illus is in no way affiliated with the charities we donate to.
